Enabling show fps effects bump the gpu use to about 150mhz. Which is a weird value, because the lowest non-idle setting should be 200mhz, so i suspect it is averaging results. By the way, the desktop is almost smooth everytime with show fps effeca and with lowest latency. However if i turn off "show fps" and artificially put the gpu mhz to a higher value state with glxgears to 200mhz, then while it is a bit better than without glxgears, it is definitely not smooth as with the show fps effect running, so i suspect is not just a matter of gpu idling too much. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
