I'm running into a NPE when using the compat lib of Maven 3. Attached is a test
project with unit test code that works with Maven 2.2.1 deps but fails with
Maven 3.0.4 deps.
To switch between Maven 2 and Maven 3, the deps in the pom needs to be altered
(see comments). If built as-si it will use Maven 3.0.4 deps and fail.
