SebbASF commented on DOXIASITETOOLS-56: --------------------------------------- Sorry, but this does not address the original issue (or issues which depend on it). The current solution means that the user has to repeat the entire copyright text, merely to change a small part of it. Furthermore, the ability to add a link to the organisation web-site is lost - or at least compromised - because site.xml should not contain HTML markup as it may be used to create other output formats. I think the solution needs rethinking. > Make copyright notice configurable in default template > ------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: DOXIASITETOOLS-56 > URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DOXIASITETOOLS-56 > Project: Maven Doxia Sitetools > Issue Type: Improvement > Affects Versions: 1.1.4 > Reporter: Michael Ekstrand > Assignee: Dennis Lundberg > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 1.2 > > Attachments: doxia-site-footer-patch.diff > > > The default site template, and the template of the default skins, assume that > the organization name is the copyright owner. I work in a research lab at a > university, and want to list the lab as the organization (since we are the > contact point), but the copyright owner needs to be listed as the university > board of regents. Doxia provides means of tweaking several elements of the > site layout, but not the copyright notice. I've also been unable to > successfully build a custom skin to accomplish this, but it seems that this > customization would be better done at the default template layer rather than > requiring a skin. > I see two potential places to configure this: either site.xml, or through an > additional 'project.owner' property. Either one would meet my needs just > fine. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
