It works in degraded mode. The idea is also to leverage it in the future to
have a nicer output, similar to the daemon.
Could you do the same thing you did on a Maven 3 distribution ? It also
contains a native library which is not signed, so I don't really see why it
would behave differently.

It's no different than when I download an application from an untrusted source,
right ? The OS also warns me about that.
