1. yes
2. always check what you download, esp via browser, as even if remote side is 
"healthy", you can go thru proxies, or even your browser could be compromised 
(by some extension or who knows what), so when the file land on disk, put on 
gloves first, and always verify it. This was like ti since eons, unsure what 
changed in 2025.
3. I agree if software we talk about is commercial. Otherwise, the thing should 
be exactly the opposite IMHO :)

You mean Apple developer program incompatible with ASL? And then removing 
JLine3 will solve it? Unsure I follow this line of thought.
