Aside, I've found many places in projects where they used a filtered properties 
file to capture the build version with {{pom.version}}.

I don't know if it's possible to log warnings for that, or if there's some kind 
of open rewrite formula that can be used to check for things dropped from maven 
when moving from 3 to 4.
