@gf2121 thank you for your patience, I am a completely ignorant when it
comes to this section of the code.
I reverted many of these offset changes. I did add one more check to numeric
comparator and did a (hopefully) redundant advance on
`TermOrdValComparator.CompetitiveComparator#intoBitSet` for the
`docsWithField`.
