In the process of adding a randomized KnnVectorsFormat to RandomCodec I learned that 4-bit quantization is not supported for odd-length vectors !? This makes the randomized testing quite difficult since we don't have a good way of ensuring that the 4-bit codec generated randomly by trhe test framework never comes in contact with the odd-dimensional vectors randomly generated by the test case.
