Heya, I am working on generating the backwards indices after releasing Lucene 10, and here are my observations: - I think that we need to forward port this change to main as well? - We need to update the tooling to generate the backwards indices accordingly (python code and java code are no longer in sync) I am happy to work on this, I think I understand what needs to happen but I wanted to confirm first. Perhaps the forward port is just a cherry-pick to main, hopefully? And once the branches are aligned, I can adjust the tooling and test them direclty as I generate the needed bwc indices for 10.0.0. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
