The way I understand deletions percentage is something like "how much of my doc ID space is taken by deleted docs", ie. the current definition. I find it easier to reason about because it naturally translates to the disk space or query evaluation efficiency that you could get by reclaiming these deletes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
