There are two separate PRs for this that should probably be looked at
separately. The strategy here is to deprecate IntTaxonomyFacets in 9.x and then
reduce its visibility in 10.0. So this isn't a simple backport to 9.x (although
the change is very small). FYI [~gf2121] , [~jpountz] since this spun off of a
discussion we had in #578
