Adrien Grand commented on LUCENE-9573: -------------------------------------- [~mikemccand] Even if we were able to write a test before 9.0, it wouldn't actually do anything until 9.0 is out since we typically only add back-compat indices at the end of the release process. So this should really be a blocker for 9.1 rather than 9.0? (Sorry, this might be what you meant and I am nitpicking, but I'm trying to get more clarity on the remaining blockers we have for 9.0. I'm happy to keep it labeled 9.0 for now since we don't have a 9.1 label in JIRA and probably don't want to introduce one or otherwise it would get used by mistake.) > Add back compat tests for VectorFormat to TestBackwardsCompatibility > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: LUCENE-9573 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-9573 > Project: Lucene - Core > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Michael Sokolov > Priority: Blocker > Fix For: main (9.0) > > > In LUCENE-9322 we add a new VectorFormat to the index.
