I could not remove `add(FieldInfo fi, long dvGen)` as
`TestParallelLeafReader::testWithDocValuesUpdates()` [expects dvGen to be
unchanged](https://github.com/apache/lucene/blob/main/lucene/core/src/test/org/apache/lucene/index/TestParallelLeafReader.java#L408).
