I've uploaded a [PR|https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/pull/2250] that's
ready for review.
Of course, there's still a few loose ends for me to polish up, but on the whole
this is pretty close to being ready to go, which is exciting since it's got the
bulk of the SIP-12 functionality.
