People are free to try and take pieces of work in this branch to master. Some
simple stuff can be taken I'm sure. Many things are much more difficult to
untangle than you think, especially given the current state of tests on master
and huge list of fairly fundamental bugs. I have a Jetty thread resource
management issue with a patch from like 3 years ago up as well.
