Can you please elaborate on what that means? I'm hoping "promote commits to
the main branch" means specifically promote pieces of this work to get to
master branch (thus 9.0) under their own Jira issues. In some rare cases there
are _existing_ Jira issues that are suitable like SOLR-13528 in which I
at-mentioned you today. I've also at-mentioned you on SOLR-14651 on the PR
side, which is related to some of your commits here.
