Cassandra Targett commented on SOLR-12930: ------------------------------------------ OK, I'm not sure how being in a different directory than the one they were in is "burying" them - there's literally one other file there right now. If I approached the project fresh I don't know I would get that the "help" directory had build information I need, but I won't assume my experience is indicative of anyone else's. I made the suggestion over a week ago to move those files as I proposed and no one said there was any issue with doing it. You asked, Dawid, in your email to me that I revert the commit that moved them, so I'll do that, but I'll confess to not really understanding the why two top-level documentation directories is better than one. > Add developer documentation to source repo > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: SOLR-12930 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-12930 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Tests > Reporter: Mark Miller > Priority: Major > Attachments: solr-dev-docs.zip > > Time Spent: 1h 20m > Remaining Estimate: 0h > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@lucene.apache.org
