   What if we add `planFileGroups` like this?
   
   ```
   private List<List<PositionDeletesScanTask>> 
planFileGroups(List<PositionDeletesScanTask> tasks) {
     return ImmutableList.copyOf(rewriter.planFileGroups(tasks));
   }
   ```
   
   Then we can call it directly:
   
   ```
   return StructLikeMap.transformValues(fileTasksByPartition, 
this::planFileGroups);
   ```
   
   All would fit on one line.
