Thanks @zeroshade. Since `catalog/catalogtest` already covers namespaces and basic create/load (#1694, #1705, #1761, #1795), I'd like to take the next slice: **table lifecycle conformance**. Proposed scope: - ListTables: empty namespace, after create, after drop - DropTable and DropMissingTable (expected sentinel error) - RenameTable, rename to an existing identifier, rename a missing table - A `SupportsRenameTable` flag on `catalogtest.Config`, following the `SupportsNamespaceProperties` pattern, for catalogs without rename All existing conformance wirings (REST, SQL, Hive, Hadoop) would run the new tests.
