Review Comment:
I pulled the latest and the issue persists. I'll try to hunt down why we're
seeing a behavioral difference. I did a quick bisect and it works prior to
(61b9dbab1) - Switch RESTSessionCatalog to AuthManager API, so it corresponds
to the cutover to the new auth.
