Thanks for taking a look, @findepi ! I've seen users doing this. One of the motivation is that they gradually move away from one file format into another. What I've seen is that Impala is more performant with Parquet but there are huge tables in production written in ORC hence the motivation to move from one format to another but they don't want to do it in one step due to the size of the table. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
