Hey, I saw that stale label was added to this PR due to inactivity. I removed it since I still have the intention to merge this, however I find it pretty difficult to get someone who does the review. I've pinged many committers, without luck. @nastra told me that he no longer has the bandwidth to continue reviewing. Maybe @findepi as a new committer, would you mind taking a look? :) The story here is that I was going to add some new metrics for the number of data files broken down by file format. This is something we could use in Impala query planning. The PR started as a very simple one, but the we took a direction to make it more generic and implement the background for 'multi-level' metrics and the PR got significantly more complicated. I don't mind which way we go, I just want to not waste my efforts that I've put into this and have something merged.
