Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-2072:
------------------------------------------
I'm still completed stumped on this one - I've rebuilt the container with the
latest FreeRDP 3.16.0, which is the same version that I'm using on my Fedora
laptop where RAIL works perfectly fine via xfreerdp, and it still fails - logs
on, immediately logs off. The RAIL channel is getting registered, but never
gets a connection from the remote system, and I'm just completely at a loss for
why - I've been through the Guacamole code and the FreeRDP code many times
trying to spot anything that is missing on the Guacamole side, and it's just
not hitting me.
I've reached out on the FreeRDP Github Issues page for some help to see if
anyone there can point me in the right direction. Just completely stumped.

> Hello,
> I have installed Guacamole 1.6.0/1.5.5 natively with FreeRPD 3.5.1 on Ubuntu
> 22.04.
> The desktop sessions work well, but only remote app sessions disconnect
> immediately after login. (The video recording is attached.)
> The Guacd log shows that "RDP Server closed/refused connection: Manually
> logged off." (The screenshot of the Guacd log is attached.)
> I also tested & confirmed that connecting the remote app with the xfreerdp
> 3.5.1 command works fine.
> xfreerdp /u:TestUser4 /p:12345 /app:program:"||Notepad++"
> /v:192.168.104.180:33389
>
> The Guacamole 1.6.0/1.5.5 with FreeRPD 2.x also works fine.
> I guess upgrading FreeRDP 2.x to 3.x causes this remote app disconnect issue.
