Using HP 932C on Ubuntu Feisty Some of the features provided by my printer on Windows are missing in the Linux driver. I was wondering if using another driver from a different model might help. Is every driver totally unique? If the commands are the same, and the only difference is that a more advanced printer will have features not included in mine, then wouldn't that driver be able to activate the common features between the two printers?
Another thought I had was that perhaps a program like Ghostscript might be able to bring my printer back to life. Any thoughts on the matter? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
