Do you have the duplexer hardware attachment? If you do, then you can use it
under Linux. Otherwise, you are right, you have to print even pages, flip
and re-load and print odd pages as described here:

As far as a different model, printing features are more or less the same
across all models - there is no special support for manual duplexing on any
printer. The wake-up issue is another thing - I will consult with our I/O
engineer on why the 932C won't wake up when you print to it.
