Hello,

I bought an C6180 it works on windows and MacOSX like a charm.
It prints on SuSE 10.2 as well. Unfortunetaly, I can't scan with it under
Linux.

Whenever I try to start hp-setup I get the following messages:
================================================

./hp-setup

error: Unable to connect to HPLIP I/O. Please (re)start HPLIP and try again.

and hp-toolbox doesn't run as well:

I know it is currently not supported officially. The installed version of
hplip is 1.6.10. Do you have an idea what I can do? Do you plan to support
OpenSuSE 10.2 in the future?

thank you and best regards
Matthias
