Agreed. Virtualbox works well.  It is not an option in this environment
unfortunately.  If spinning up a windows instance was an option, I wouldn't
have even bothered wasting time with this.

Wine is good enough for time it will be needed. No disagreement that it
sucks to have to do it, however.
