Hi,
Can we agree to automate planet additions (and maybe removals,
updates?). https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=881367 has been
languishing for 3months. This is not my first experience like this. I
ask every one of my team members to sign up for a blog and syndicate it
to planet. Most of the planet additions take months :(
I value our community contributors, but I don't think it makes sense to
rely on availability of community members to do things that should be
automatic. Lets fix this by automating planet.
The planet is our main venue for discussing our work in the open, we
should treat it with more care. I think it's pretty clear that the slow
process of getting people on planet is causing more harm than good(how
many people DID NOT get approved in the last few years?).
I personally would prefer an easier way to get something off planet to
obstacles in getting content onto planet.
