My mother (age 94) has forgotten her gmail password and knows not enough of the other details to get a recovery password. Her recovery phone number was not a mobile phone, so cannot get an SMS. I posted a message on Google+, and Robert Khayat suggested that there was a way to get an automated phone call to the recovery number rather than an SMS. However, when I am at the relevant page in the https://www.google.com/settings/recovery tree, I don't see such an option - on the page about SMS, there are two options: Send and I Don't have Access to My Phone. The first of these unconditionally sends an SMS, while the second puts me into the alternate recovery, which is not working because among other things her IP address has changed and her recollection of dates is not so good. Help?
