Anyhow, I concede to the problems stemming from USE_ORDER described by mjo and retract my strong preference of global USE=udev, pending proper solution for those problems. However concrete examples as asked by Matt would be nice. Someone should work on that USE_ORDER issue... This IUSE default vs profiles trouble keeps coming up every couple of months.. Mart
