Hi Anton, Your perspective as a committer from outside the original founding company is a positive signal.
However, I noticed something that I think relates to the governance aspect of my earlier question. Looking at your recent committer announcement, you had substantial contributions, including 73 commits and around 100 reviews on fluss-rust, along with 19 commits and 23 reviews on Fluss itself before becoming a committer. However, I also note that you are not part of the proposed initial PMC list. At a glance, for your level of contributions, I would expect you to be on that PMC list. My original concern was less about whether external contributors can participate and more about whether governance authority has diversified during incubation. Could the PPMC provide some additional context around: How many current committers and PPMC members joined from outside the original founding organization? How many of those are represented in the proposed PMC? How PMC membership evolved during incubation and what factors were considered for the proposed graduation PMC composition? I think this would help clarify not only whether outside contributors are welcomed, but also whether governance has broadened as the project matured. Kind Regards, Justin
