How come the proposed PMC includes someone that is not part of the
project? I know its normal for people to just be added when the PPMC
is being formed - but after that AIUI the project is supposed to
operate as a normal project - with people being voted in as committers
& PPMC members. Just adding someone to the graduation resolution
without any vote to make them part of the project is unusual in the
extreme. I did raise this in the discussion but you chose to ignore
that and not address it.

In terms of community the project has shrunk in 6 years - not grown -
it started with 13 PPMC members and now its down to 5 proposed PMC
members. One of those is not part of the project, one initially
declined to be on the PMC, but then agreed to stay on to bolster the
numbers - so in reality you have a 3 man project after 6 years of
incubation. I think there should be real concern about the
sustainability of Apache Training because to me it has the profile
(community wise) of a project on a trajectory towards the Attic rather
than one that is vibrant and growing.

This makes it even stranger that someone is just put on the proposed
graduation resolution without them being added to the PPMC through the
normal process. How does that demonstrate a "deep understanding of ASF
principles"?
