It is necessary for me to explain the community roles in Seata. The Seata community includes roles of maintainer, committer, and contributor. In the actual operation of the community, the committer role in the Seata community is similar to the PMC (Project Management Committee) member role in Apache Foundation projects. Contributors can be recommended and nominated by committers, and after discussion and voting, they can become new committers only when the number of votes reaches 60% of all committers and all approval.

Donating Seata to the Apache Foundation not only involves the transfer of organization, but also includes a shift in roles.
