Justin, thank you for your answer very much.

Let me share my thoughts.
As I remember, there were several non-active DataLab PMC members. The matter
was discussed, and then, a vote took place:

For now, Apache DataLab is not as a TLP, it‘s still a podling. And we followed
the process "Projects can establish their own policy on handling inactive
members, as long as they apply it consistently. It is not a problem to retain
members of the PMC who have become inactive, and it can make it easier for them
to stay in touch with the project if they choose to become active again." which
is described in the link:
https://www.apache.org/dev/pmc.html#pmc-removal

However, it seems that we may have made a mistake and must reach out the board
for removal. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if our product has a chance of successfully graduating, as there
have been mixed thoughts about it, including the idea of retirement in this
email thread?

Justin, I really appreciate your expertise in the graduation process. It would
be great if you help us identify any other gaps in our graduation process,
apart from the two points you have mentioned:
1. Removing PPMC members
2. Clear discussion who is going to develop and maintain the product in the
future.

 Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Vira Vitanska
