Incorrect.

The board should not be in the business of micromanaging the
Incubator.  It should be the Incubator itself that asks for individual
podling reports.

Recent feedback to the Incubator PMC from the board on from the
published reports[1]:

16 Nov 2011:

  failure of the Incubator to police the lack of attention by mentors on
  projects that have been incubating for years

26 Oct 2011:

  focus on graduation

20 Jul 2011:

  ensure that long running incubating projects actually have a plausible
  plan to graduate
