Please keep in mind when someone comes to try installing the gcc compiler and getting it to run, they do not have the experience and day-to-day exposure you have, so something simple as an incorrect path can be confounding. I'm not sure which class is missing (or not pointed to with the class path) from the above output. -- Summary: org.eclipse.jdt.internal.compiler.batch.GCCMain not found Product: gcc Version: 4.5.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: java AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org ReportedBy: jlpoole at pon dot net GCC build triplet: armv5tel-unknown-linux-gnueabi GCC host triplet: armv5tel-unknown-linux-gnueabi GCC target triplet: armv5tel-unknown-linux-gnueabi http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42409
