I never questioned the fact that this video is fake. I don't know whether the makers used an RC controlled plane or just some heavy duty image manipulation. The movement of the plane is just to fast to be real.
FWIW, there have been more of these faked "amazing amateur" videos on the net, used as Dutch commercials. Another one I recently saw is one where a well known TV whetherman standing in the middle of the road commenting on icy conditions and the need for winter tires was trashed by speeding car that had gone out of control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOk6lxtjx7I This one's completely fake (note that originally it appeared without the ad), but look at how crafty it's been made.
