In all due respect, I think you folks are telling yourselves a story.

I thought I read (over and over, actually) that it was imperative that we
not discuss taper-unfriendly bands, because with all the fuss about the
Internet as a vehicle for music piracy, we want to keep the Napster police
off of etree's case.

If I were a taper-unfriendly band and I was browsing db.etree and I saw my
band listed, "non-tradable" or not, I'd call my lawyer.
