the thing i was talking about was the 1 and only list "style -> default" and the
selector. how is that not clear u are selecting the default style? u can play
with all (but indirect rendering) settings without any problem. it wont hurt to
hit and try. if you are of the opinion its all so complicated for you - then
leave it alone and be happy. i just dont get it - the same selection mechanism
is used in theme and wallpaper selectors, but somehow at least you 2 have a
mental block thinking that this has to be somehow different.

try settings and see what happens. if u find this too scary then dont try
anything and leave them alone. that goes for EVERY SINGLE settings value in
any and every app everywhere. if u are scared of selecting "delete" when a file
is selected... then DONT. if that confuses you - then dont do it. if you are
happy with trying it and seeing what happens then try - go for it.

your complain was one of complete bewilderment at almost anything in the dialog
- then don't touch the bits u don't understand if it scares you to touch them.

not everything in e has been dumbed down to hide all the options. i didn't want
to bother doing much more of it until we were using elm for dialogs.

you haven't touched e17 since 2007. :) and never compositing. you have done
mountains more with efl (of late), but i wouldn't say you're a "very
experienced E17 developer". :) especially in the last 5 years so. :)

i made a basic one. if u don't understand the one that's there now.. u need to
see a shrink. it's so utterly basic. if u need the advanced dialog - deal with
it. it's advanced. if it scares you don't touch it and live with the fact u
wont change what u wanted to change, unless its in basic.
