it will be similar problems as with kde4(plasma). for e17 the desktop itself is
only touchable via well structured access mechanisms. the root window is total
chaos. e17 removes the chaos. :) kde4 is following in e's footsteps here. to an
extent gnome is now also walking in e's footsteps too. :)
