It wont. Themes are in .enlightenment/themes/

Not for me. The key bindings are in keybindings.cfg or something which
is not touched.

I dont think you will have to copy anything back. It works for me and I
found about about doing that as I read about it from a search on google
as I had the same prob as you did. I didnt work it out for myself as I
have no idea what the .initialized and ...e_session files are. (or why
it begins with three dots - seems silly to me).
