Patch Set 13: Fingerprint validation failure throws an exception in the Query, which will will automatically be displayed as an error on the UI. Regarding others, pasting my comment from patch-set 13: "Yes, for now we expect the user the find out what is wrong with connectivity to the server and fix it. In future we may enhance it to per-server error message as well, if required.
