Good Evening,
Summer is here. Fewer foggy mornings with more warm, sunny days. A
doe in her red summer coat spent an hour nibbling salal and bramble
leaves. She walked a few feet into the ferns and disappeared. Many
transient birds are passing through. I hear their calls for a day or
two and then they're gone.
The sun has grown new spots. Active ones. There is also an
equatorial hole in the sun's atmosphere spewing a stream of high speed
ions. We are under a G1 level geomagnetic storm watch. Should be noisy
with all manner of QSB. I'll know better by this time tomorrow.
