I tried replacing the file /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/radeon_drv.o with the
radeon_drv.o modules created when calling "make -f Makefile.linux
LINUXDIR=/usr/src/linux" in addition to replacing the radeon.o module. But then
I get the following error when trying to load X:
(II) LoadModule: "radeon"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/radeon_drv.o
(EE) LoadModule: Module radeon does not have a radeonModuleData data object.
(II) UnloadModule: "radeon"
(II) Unloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/radeon_drv.o
(EE) Failed to load module "radeon" (invalid module, 0)
Am I meant to replace the radeon_drv.o module as I've done, or do I use the one
that installing XFree86 copied over??
Thanks, I'll wait for some replies before posting again, as I think I've
overdone it a little :P
