The latest news from me is that pageflipping now doesn't freeze the system as
before (using the second patch with pageflipping fixed). However, everything on
X except the mouse freezes at some point after resizing an opengl window, it
seems to be more likely to freeze when the video card is drawing more stuff. The
only way to regain control of the system again is to ssh in and kill the opengl
program, or to restart with the power button.
I'll have a play around and see what else I can turn up on the problem. Anyone
else got any ideas??
