Note that draft-huque-dnsop-private-metatypes has also not really been
considered by the WG beyond the recent mentions in this thread. If that is
incorporated into the proposed 6895bis, that would be a more substantial
update. I was originally thinking the DELEXT rr types proposal could also
be incorporated, but it sounds like you (and others) think that should be
part of a more deleg specific effort.

That said, I'm also okay with pursuing private-metatypes as a separate
document.

Also note that draft-arends-dnsop-delext will need to change as the DELEG

My draft also goes a bit beyond IANA considerations as I previously
remarked (by formalizing resolver behavior for unknown q and meta-types).
