this point is useless, since the whole project is hosted on github, so
if you need it to contribute to the code, there is no point to differ
for the website.
You only need an account, since the you can just access things using
standard git client. You don't need proprietary software to contribute,
you sadly need access to github itself
Fixing that opens a long and tedious discussion about the github
presence. I am against, other people, including our leader, were in
favor. Also, there is a real lack of good alternatives. Savannah has its
issues, I am not going to dig that out now, no point.
