That was actually what got me involved with Freenet in the first place.
It's a nice idea that keeps coming up... mainly for e.g. anonymously
developed software, but also for avoiding announcing exactly what you
are running to anyone watching your connection. The catch is it takes
longer - the modern trend is once the QA has been done thoroughly,
patches should be deployed as quickly as possible, since the bad guys
will use them before you finish downloading otherwise... E.g. Windows
and Mac are quite a long way down that path, Debian less so...
