Mostly Zoltan answered this already, but yes. The packages have
version numbers that make clear they are git snapshots, not releases.
It already seems to me that having them packaged is increasing
interest in the modules, so hopefully this will also help with
development contributions of those modules that people feel important.

This is a good idea. I'm adding some extra warnings to the git
snapshot packages.
