Gentoo has a tool that serves the same purpose and it's called eselect, so qselect isn't a bad name IMHO. In Gentoo's case, it's used for gcc, postgres and many other packages that can have slots ( multiple version install ). It's a shame other distros don't have their own eselect, then it wouldn't be necessary for Qt to have it's own. I guess I'm a bit late, but just my 2c. Kind Regards, Thiago A.
